This transformational initiative is positioning Canada as a global leader in Sovereign AI by building a secure, highperformance, coasttocoast compute fabric that will power the next generation of AI innovation. In this consultative executive role, you will guide multidisciplinary engineering teams, influence data centre strategy across the enterprise, and directly engage customers to advance complex solution designs. Your leadership will ensure Bellu2019s AIready data centre environments remain industryleading in reliability, efficiency, scalability, and innovation. **Key Responsibilities** u2022 Provide strategic leadership to both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams responsible for design, planning, standards development, and operational readiness across all data centre facilities. u2022 Drive the engineering vision for highdensity AI and GPUoptimized data centres, ensuring alignment with Bellu2019s national AI Fabric program and longterm infrastructure roadmap. u2022 Act as a senior consultative engineering advisor during customer engagements, supporting with technical expertise, solution positioning, and complex design discussions. u2022 Build strong customer relationships by articulating Bellu2019s technical capabilities, understanding customer requirements, and shaping data centre solutions that accelerate the sales cycle. u2022 Oversee the development and continuous refinement of engineering standards, playbooks, and design guidelines for mechanical, electrical, cooling, and power systems. u2022 Collaborate closely with Operations, Construction, Architecture, Network Engineering, and external partners to ensure design integrity, feasibility, and alignment with project goals. u2022 Lead risk assessments, capacity planning, and longterm growth strategies to support evolving AI and highdensity compute workloads. u2022 Champion innovation in cooling technologies, power distribution, energy efficiency, sustainability, and resiliency. u2022 Provide executive oversight for commissioning, technical evaluations, escalations, and critical incident response as required. u2022 Develop and mentor highperforming engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, cooperative problemsolving, and continuous improvement. u2022 Represent the engineering organization in executive reviews, customer briefings, and strategic planning sessions. **Critical Qualifications** u2022 Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; P. Eng designation strongly preferred. u2022 12u201315+ years of experience in missioncritical data centre engineering, with at least 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in highdensity compute environments, advanced cooling strategies, power distribution, redundancy architectures, and data centre capacity planning. u2022 Strong background in customerfacing engagements, including consultative technical discussions, solution design, and support for presales activities. u2022 Deep understanding of codes and standards relevant to data centre environments (ASHRAE, CSA, NEC/NFPA, Uptime, TIA942, etc.). u2022 Exceptional communication, executive presence, and ability to translate complex engineering concepts for both technical and nontechnical audiences. u2022 Ability to lead largescale, multisite engineering programs with a strong emphasis on quality, reliability, and innovation. **Preferred Qualifications** u2022 Experience in large hyperscale or AIfocused data centre environments. u2022 Demonstrated leadership in developing new engineering capabilities, standards, or nationalscale programs. u2022 Strategic mindset with a strong customer orientation and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders. u2022 Familiarity with emerging technologies such as liquid cooling, immersion cooling, edge data centre deployment, and advanced power management systems.
