Crush Process Operator (Yorkton)

Position Overview Crush Process Operator – Yorkton, SK Responsibilities - Operate and monitor processing equipment, including lubrication and maintenance requirements - Coordinate daily operational tasks and activities with other departments - Perform housekeeping duties in the crush/seed cleaning area - Participate in process optimization initiatives - Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and procedures, and general workplace rules - Participate in the day‑to‑day health and safety program by working in a safe manner at all times: always using the required personal protective equipment - Ensure that authorized work is completed safely - Utilize required controls to prevent the risk of exposure to hazards - Participate actively in incident investigations, training, and other health and safety initiatives - Report all unsafe acts and conditions and all incidents, near misses and workplace injuries/illnesses as per company procedure - Other duties as assigned Qualifications - Must have grade 12 or equivalent with excellent written, documentation, and verbal communication skills - Must have a good work performance and attendance record and be willing to work a rotating shift schedule, weekends, and overtime - Experience in a manufacturing plant environment or operating grain cleaners is considered an asset Benefits Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of a competitive salary, pension, a adaptable benefits plan, and training and career development opportunities.
