Instructor - Autism Spectrum Disorder - Continuing Education Contract (SPSY 203 - Programming for Children with ASD in ECE) Below you will find the details for the position including any supplementary documentation and questions you should review before applying for the opening. Contract: Start 08/17/2026; End 06/30/2027; Rate $60 per hour; Location: Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina Campus; Bargaining Unit: Faculty Association. Special Instructions Please indicate in your cover letter the offering(s) you are applying for: - August 24 - November 27, 2026 - September 14, 2026 - January 1, 2027 - October 13, 2026 - January 15, 2027 - January 11 - April 16, 2027 - February 1 - May 7, 2027 - March 1 - June 4, 2027 Job Duties - Verify course content and links, updating resources as necessary. - Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using appropriate instructional methodologies within an online learning environment. - Provide appropriate support, evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students on the required learning platform (Brightspace). - Manage the online learning platform to ensure an optimum learning setting. - Work co-operatively in an interdependent team environment. - Follow policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Qualifications - Recognized relevant four‑year degree: Bachelor of Education (including a minor in Special Education, 15 credit hour Micro‑credential in Special Education/Inclusive Education or a Certificate in Inclusive Education), Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies, or a Bachelor’s in Child Development. - Two years recent and relevant experience working in an inclusive setting supporting children with Autism. - Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, online teaching, email, MS Office Suite software, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology. - Ability to function as a team member in an ever‑changing environment.
