Landscaper (Regina)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes, ensuring the aesthetic appeal and health of various green spaces. This role involves working with a variety of tools and equipment to perform landscape maintenance, construction, and horticultural tasks, contributing to the overall beauty and functionality of our clients' properties. Duties - Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas well-groomed - Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for land grading and construction projects - Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns - Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery according to project specifications - Use hand tools and power tools for planting, digging, cutting, and other landscaping tasks - Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency - Assist in landscape construction projects including retaining walls, pathways, and garden beds - Apply horticultural knowledge to diagnose plant health issues and recommend appropriate treatments - Maintain safety standards at all times during work operations Experience - Prior experience in landscape maintenance or construction is preferred - Knowledge of gardening practices, horticulture principles, and landscape design is advantageous - Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems is a plus - Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and various construction materials is essential - Experience working with irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and general landscape maintenance will be highly valued - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pt3vg
