As an Apprentice, you’ll assist journeyperson pipefitters in installing and maintaining a variety of pipe systems. This position emphasizes teamwork and responsibility, providing opportunities for professional advancement within the industry. You will be working predominantly in Central Alberta, with a structured 10/4shift rotation, engaging in both indoor and outdoor work.
Key Responsibilities:• Read and interpret complex construction drawings • Assist in on-site installation of piping and structural steel • Assemble and prepare piping for various installations • Measure, cut, and thread pipe accurately • Conduct hydrotests and installation of components
Requirements:• Registered Apprentice with the relevant authority • Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests • Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly • Comfort with outdoor work environments • Commitment to maintaining a culture of safety
