Typical Day As a department manager, you will: manage purchasing, inventory, P.L.U. price lists and meet sales per hour/person to ensure business readiness; develop and manage policies and procedures, adhere to government hygiene and occupational health and safety standards and ensure that they are consistently applied and adhered to by all department employees; select, train, evaluate and motivate the members of his or her team, surrounding them with competent people; carry out the various operations related to the accounting of the cash registers (money transfers, deposits, controls, weekly verifications, etc.).
