Chief Technology Officer — Trust Science Remote, North America | Founder-led, founder-funded | Reports to the President Trust Science® is a regulated Consumer Reporting Agency rebuilding credit decisioning for the credit-invisible and underbanked. Our platform fuses identity, behavioral, cashflow, and alternative data with proprietary ML to give lenders intelligence the legacy bureaus can't. 80+ issued patents across 15 countries. Founder-led, founder-funded, no institutional capital, with a clear path toward cashflow breakeven. We're looking for a hands-on CTO to own technical direction and execution. You'll lead a team of ~10, partner with our CISO, and report to the President. Expect to be in the architecture and the code, not just the roadmap — and in executive sessions translating client needs into technical reality. You likely fit if you: - Have 10+ years in software engineering with progressive leadership, and are ready to step into your first CTO seat — or already operating in one at a similarly small company - Have personally architected and scaled a production B2B data platform - Have real ML Ops depth — built it, not just supervised it - Use modern AI development tools daily and can coach a team to ship better with them - Bring strong cloud-native, microservices, CI/CD, and security foundations - Bring high accountability and strong executive partnership to align technology strategy with business priorities - Have regulated-environment experience (fintech, financial services, consumer data, CRA) — strongly preferred Why this seat: A genuinely defensible business with a compounding IP and data moat.
