What you'll do: - Work hands-on to construct high-quality landscape projects, specializing in hardscaping elements. - Precisely install various types of interlocking pavers for patios, walkways, and driveways. - Build sturdy and aesthetically pleasing retaining walls using different materials. - Execute intricate stonework, including natural stone steps, flagstone patios, and veneers. - Operate a variety of landscaping equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., compaction equipment, cut-off saws, excavators- experience with these is a strong asset!) - Prepare job sites, including digging, grading, and material handling - Collaborate effectively with the team members, foremen and designers to ensure project success. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. What we're looking for: - proven experience as a landscape labourer with a focus on retaining walls, interlocking, and stonework. - Strong understanding of proper construction techniques for hardscaping. - Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. - A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship. - Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic. - Valid G Class Driver's License and a clean driving record preferred. Various job sites throughout North GTA. - Experience operating small to medium-sized machinery (skid steers, mini excavators, stone saw, tampers) is a definite plus.
