As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, reliable Roofing Crew Lead to head up their own team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence. The Role We aren't just looking for someone who can lay shingles; we need a leader. As a Crew Lead, you will be the captain of your own truck and crew. You will oversee residential and/or commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every job site. Key Responsibilities - Lead & Mentor: Manage, motivate, and supervise your own roofing crew on daily projects. - Installation: Expertly install, repair, and replace various roofing systems (Shingles, Flat Roofs, Cedar, etc.). - Quality Control: Ensure all work meets or exceeds building codes and Beaver The Roofer quality standards. - Safety First: Enforce strict job site safety protocols and ensure the crew utilizes proper PPE and fall protection. - Customer Relations: Act as the qualified onsite point of contact for homeowners, answering questions with a positive attitude. - Logistics: Manage inventory on the truck and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained. What We Are Looking ForExperience matters, but leadership defines this role. - Proven Experience: Minimum of [3-5] years of professional roofing experience (Residential or Commercial). - Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and solve problems on the fly. - Technical Know-How: Deep understanding of roofing materials, flashing, ventilation, and safety regulations. - Valid Driver’s License: A clean driving record is required to operate company vehicles. - Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work comfortably at heights in various weather conditions. - Reliability: Punctual, honest, and possesses a strong work ethic.
