For more information on Touro Brazilian Steakhouse, please visit our website at WHAT WILL OUR GUEST SERVICES HOST OR HOSTESS DO? - Welcome guests to the venue - Handle coat check - Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists - Manage reservations - Escort customers to assigned dining tables or bar areas - Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name - Greet customers upon their departure - Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options - Maintain a clean reception area - Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) - Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries - Assist wait staff as needed The Hostess starts the guest’s experience; hence it is imperative that the Hostess is attentive, organized and a detailed oriented communicator. “You never get a second chance to make a first impression _ ” To be successful in this role, you must have thorough knowledge and demonstrate competence in following areas: - Keeping a Positive Vibe - Keeping a professional look and speak with a professional language - Knowledge of what we do at Touro Brazilian Steakhouse - Technical Knowledge on Open Tables reservation system, the sale of gift cards and operating the telephone WHAT EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DO YOU NEED? - 1 + years’ customer service experience preferred - Excellent customer service and hospitality skills - Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure - Understanding and knowledge of the fine dining restaurant industry is definite asset - Ability to work effectively in a team setting - Neat, well-groomed appearance with a positive attitude Job Types: Full-time Pay: From $17.60 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ol1kn
