Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities - Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. - Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions. - Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. - Prepare food items as needed, following proper food handling and safety protocols. - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. - Assist in food preparation and ensure all items are stocked and ready for service. - Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. - Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service. Requirements - Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, particularly in food service. - Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures. - Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. - Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. - Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen or dining area. - Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
