Landscaper/Labourer (Richmond Hill)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves working outdoors on various landscaping and construction projects, such as spring cleaning, lawn mowing, gardening, sodding and other outdoor landscaping tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in landscape construction, equipment operation, and site maintenance. Applicants must be able to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs. Duties - Assist with landscape installation, including planting, grading, and soil preparation - Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators for various landscaping tasks - Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas through trimming, pruning, mowing, and fertilizing - Support construction activities related to landscape projects, including setting foundations and assembling structures - Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a safe working setting - Assist with site cleanup and debris removal after project completion Experience - Prior experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate - Knowledge of excavation equipment such as excavators is a plus - Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation or repair is desirable - Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and construction equipment is beneficial - Experience working with hand tools and power tools in outdoor settings is advantageous - Previous work in construction or outdoor maintenance projects will be considered an asset This position is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in landscaping or outdoor construction.
