Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and productive kitchen setting while supporting food preparation and service. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities - Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients. - Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas by following sanitation protocols. - Support cooking staff by providing necessary ingredients and tools during meal preparation. - Help with the serving of food to customers or guests as needed. - Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations. - Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of low stock levels. - Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Skills - Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory. - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus. - Familiarity with food service practices and food handling safety standards. - Strong cleaning skills to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on collaboration within the hospitality industry. - A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service.
