Job Description Logistics Coordinator – Amico Accessories Richmond Hill, ON We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated logistics coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, and logistics operations within our facility. The successful candidate will work closely with freight carriers and internal departments to ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to grow their career in logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate inbound shipments and assist with scheduling delivery appointments and dock availability. - Track incoming and outgoing shipments and communicate updates to internal departments as required. - Assist with freight quotations and shipment scheduling with carriers. Receiving & Documentation - Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders. - Enter receiving and shipping transactions accurately into Spire/SAP system. - Prepare and maintain shipping/receiving documentation including bills of lading, packing slips, labels, and customs paperwork. - Report shipment discrepancies, shortages, or damages to supervisors and Purchasing. Cross-Functional Support - Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Packing, Material Handling, Customer Service, and Accounting teams to support daily operations. - Assist with return memos, RGA processing, and inventory-related documentation. - Support Shipping and Receiving departments with day-to-day workflow coordination. Compliance & Operational Support - Follow company procedures, safety standards, and transportation regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and organization within Shipping and Receiving areas. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks as required (training provided if necessary). - Perform additional duties that support departmental and organizational objectives. Qualifications & Skills - 1–3 years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or administrative support roles preferred. - College diploma or coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business considered an asset. - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. - Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Spire or SAP is an asset. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced workplace. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Forklift certification is an asset but not required.
