Field Systems The Trimble Field Systems segment provides solutions to increase precision and productivity in construction tasks by empowering stakeholders to collect accurate information and manage conditions with cutting‑edge technology. You will have the unique opportunity to modernise existing software modules for cloud‑based workflows, prototype advanced algorithms, and collaborate across global product teams, making a tangible impact on mobile mapping technology. Spearhead the development and maintenance of advanced software modules for photogrammetric bundle adjustment and LiDAR point cloud alignment. Design and implement estimation modules to characterise sensor installation and interior geometry parameters. Modernise and redesign existing software modules to seamlessly integrate with cloud‑based workflows. Collaborate with cross‑functional product teams to define technical requirements and solve complex positioning challenges. Master’s or PhD in Geomatics, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. Robust expertise in C++ alongside a deep background in Kalman filtering and least‑squares estimation. Solid understanding of coordinate frames, transformations, and scientific software development. Excellent collaboration and presentation skills, with experience working in an agile environment. Bonus Points For Proficiency in C# and Matlab. Experience with GPU development and building multithreaded applications.
