Description
– CSR / OS&D; (Western Canada Express) Title Appointment Coordinator & Customer Service Reports To Terminal Manager Summary The appointment coordinator and customer service position is responsible for setting appointments, be able to multitask and take customer service inquires. Fluency in English and the ability to write professional emails are needed for this position. Core Competencies - Customer Focus - Communication - Energy & Stress - Team Work - Quality Orientation - Problem Solving - Accountability and Dependability - Operating Equipment - Ethics and Integrity Job Duties - Set delivery appointments - Relay work orders, messages, and information to the Operations - Handle customer queries - Adhere to corporate and departmental policies and procedures - Performs other duties as required Requirements - High school diploma or GED - Fluency in English - At least 40 WPM - College program in logistics or equivalent business related experience preferred - Transportation industry knowledge and experience an asset (i.e. shipping/receiving, scheduling, freight negotiations and regulatory requirements) - Experience with AS400 and or other TMS application are major assets - Advanced computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word - Knowledge of the GVRD (Routing, traffic flow etc) - Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times - Able to work well under pressure - Flexible, able to deal with change - Solid attention to detail - Very organized, with excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills - Excellent customer service/communication skills - Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Working Conditions - Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals - Overtime as required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate - Richmond, BC V6W 1M1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - Customer service: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o40hw
