Drive creative RF system development at Norsat International Inc. This role focuses on hands-on design, testing, and optimization of high-frequency components and assemblies in a collaborative workplace. As an RF Mechatronics Engineer, you’ll be a vital resource throughout the product lifecycle, partnering closely with manufacturing to enhance RF circuits, including solid-state power amplifiers and block upconverters. You will translate product requirements into actionable prototypes while ensuring solutions meet all performance specifications. Your expertise will be key in addressing technical challenges and assisting production teams with design implementation. Key Responsibilities: • Contribute to the development of RF power amplifiers and BUCs • Enhance existing RF circuit designs to meet new requirements • Support RF amplifier design and layout considering manufacturability • Deliver technical input for design validation and proposals • Verify performance and specification compliance of solutions Requirements: • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field • 5–8 years of RF design and development experience • Robust background in RF components, including amplifiers • Proficient in PCB design tools and schematic capture • Hands-on circuit building and troubleshooting experience Your expertise in RF circuitry and design for manufacturability will significantly contribute to Norsat’s cutting-edge communication solutions.
