Hardscape Ottawa is a leading design/build firm specializing in custom interlock paving, landscaping, and outdoor living spaces across Ottawa and the surrounding areas. We take pride in transforming backyards into beautiful spaces where families make lasting memories. Summary We’re looking for a Landscape Labourer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support the construction and installation of a variety of landscaping projects — from patios and driveways to gardens and retaining walls. This isn’t just another labour job. With us, you’ll have opportunities to gain hands-on experience with tools and machinery you wouldn’t normally get to use on a general construction site. Responsibilities - Assist with the installation of hardscaping features (patios, driveways, walkways, retaining walls). - Prepare sites for construction and installation. - Safely use hand tools and basic machinery. - Install plant material and soft landscaping features. - Keep the jobsite clean and organized throughout the project. - Work closely with the team to deliver projects on time and to spec. - Follow company safety procedures at all times. Requirements - Experience in landscaping or construction is an asset, but not required. - Ability to safely use hand tools and small equipment. - Strong physical stamina (this role includes lifting heavy materials). - Good communication and teamwork skills. - A willingness to learn and grow your skills in the landscaping trade.
