Service Advisor - Kamloops, Downtown (City Centre)

Overview: Fountain Tire Kamloops Downtown (690 Landsdowne Street), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Advisor! What is in it for you? - Competitive compensation: $25 to $35 per hour + Commission! - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefit programs for you and your family, including an RRSP program with company matching - We will develop your skills and certifications with our excellent training program & opportunity for advancement - The opportunity to work with an excellent team and great customers - Regular day shifts - Excellent discounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and mechanical services Primary Responsibilities: - Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians - Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up. - Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received - Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers - Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system. - Keep promotional material updated in the showroom. - Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field. - Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules. - Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts What does it take to get on track? - Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset - Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations - Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services - Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract - Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must - A team player who takes pride in their work If you are interested apply in-store or online today!
