Position Scope We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant / Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that production runs smoothly, schedules are efficiently managed, and all logistical operations support the company’s overall success. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Estimate the time and materials required to complete each job
Effectively manage schedules to maximize workflow and productivity
Track incoming and outgoing products, equipment, and materials
Monitor the production status of each project to ensure deadlines are met
Maintain and update detailed records and spreadsheets for past, current, and future workflows
Collaborate closely with the production and operations teams, as well as the Logistics Manager
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and align with company standards
Support day-to-day logistics and operations activities
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications&Skills
Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, production coordination, or supply chain operations
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is considered an asset
Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred
Skills:
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
Proficient with digital tools and Microsoft Excel (or similar spreadsheet software)
Ability to create and maintain accurate and detailed documentation
Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills
