Job Title: Workday Core HCM & Compensation Consultant
Location: Remote
Experience: 8–12 Years
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Core HCM & Compensation Consultant with strong functional consulting expertise in Workday implementations and compensation modules. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of Workday Core HCM and Compensation, along with hands-on experience leading client discussions, gathering business requirements, configuring solutions, and supporting end-to-end implementation activities. Current Workday certifications are mandatory.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Existing and current Workday Core HCM Certification (Mandatory)
• 8–12 years of overall consulting experience
• Strong experience in Workday Compensation implementation and configuration
• Experience with at least 1–2 full lifecycle Workday HCM implementations focused on Compensation modules
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and analyze client requirements
• Partner with functional leads and business teams to provide recommendations and guide key business process decisions
• Configure Workday Compensation solutions based on industry standards and business needs
• Provide guidance on establishing clean system configurations and streamlined business processes
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Annual Remuneration Review (ARR) processes and compensation planning cycles
• Design, build, test, and deploy Compensation solutions within Workday
• Create and demonstrate solution prototypes and configuration scenarios to stakeholders
• Apply Workday Implementation Methodology across all project engagements
• Provide regular project updates and status reports to Project Managers and stakeholders
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to share implementation best practices and recommendations
• Support continuous learning by participating in Workday certification updates and knowledge-sharing activities
• Work across multiple HCM areas to ensure seamless integration between modules and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Robust functional expertise in Workday Core HCM and Compensation modules
• Hands-on experience in configuring compensation structures, plans, eligibility rules, compensation cycles, and compensation events
• Experience defining interactions between multiple HCM modules and related business processes
• Strong understanding of HCM business processes and HR lifecycle management
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions
• Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Workday Compensation Certification preferred
• Workday Advanced Compensation Certification preferred
• Experience with multiple HCM functional modules
• Experience in large-scale enterprise implementation environments
