Management Development Program - BC Plumbing - Full-time We are currently hiring full time Management Development Program Trainees. EMCO Corporation is a leading national wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industry products to the construction industry. For this position you will learn every aspect of our business operations through a comprehensive 4‑phase program. This full‑time position includes a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Please note that successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada to complete training, with relocation assistance provided. The Role As a Management Trainee you will progress through a 4‑phase program to learn how our business operates—from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. You will also grow a sales territory, provide world‑class customer service, and receive guidance from managers across Canada. Program Outline - Phase 1 (12 months): Warehouse and Customer Service – Build product knowledge and experience with logistics, shipping, counter sales, order management, inventory, pricing controls, credit management, and financial statements. - Phase 2 (12 months): Customer Relationships and Procurement – Help customers with service issues, manage large‑scale projects, read blueprint drawings, and create material quotes. - Phase 3 (15–18 months): Account Management and Proactive Sales – Focus on business development, find new opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, expand customer base, and create level‑5 partnerships. - Phase 4 (3 months): Leadership and Operations – Provide strategic vision, lead your own team, mentor others, and run business operations while developing leadership competencies. Upon completing the phases you will be ready to take on a management role at one of our Canadian profit‑center locations.
