Cabinet Maker/Installer (Richmond)

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Installer to join our team. This role involves crafting custom cabinetry, reading blueprints, and installing cabinets with precision across residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret schematics and work efficiently with various hand and power tools. Responsibilities - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately build and install cabinetry. - Measure, cut, assemble, and finish cabinet components using hand tools, power tools. - Install cabinets securely on-site, ensuring proper alignment and finishing details. - Perform related tasks such as surface preparation, sanding, finishing, and caulking to ensure high-quality results. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures. - Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met efficiently and professionally. Requirements - Proven experience in cabinetry, carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields. - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately. - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other woodworking equipment. - Experience with installation processes including cabinet mounting and finishing touches. - Knowledge of construction estimating, masonry, rebar installation, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, or general handyman skills is a plus. - Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various environments; attention to detail is essential. - Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt to different project requirements. - Valid driver’s license preferred for site travel; reliable transportation required.
