Operations & Logistics Manager Richmond

Job Overview Metrocan Distribution Corp is a growing construction materials supplier. We are hiring an Operations & Logistics Manager to take full responsibility for our warehouse, deliveries, and crew. This is a hands-on role. You will manage staff and work in the warehouse when needed. Forklift operation and physical warehouse work are required. Responsibilities Manage warehouse staff and delivery drivers Assign daily tasks and oversee execution Plan and schedule deliveries (routes, trucks, drivers) Coordinate crane and jobsite deliveries Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading as required Ensure accurate picking, loading, and securing of materials Maintain an organized, safe, and effective warehouse/yard Reduce errors, damage, and re-deliveries Hold staff accountable for performance and attendance Communicate daily issues and solutions to management Requirements 2+ years experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management Construction materials, lumber, steel, drywall, or similar industry experience required Forklift experience required (certification an asset) Comfortable with physical warehouse work when needed Proven experience managing crews and drivers Solid organizational and leadership skills Ability to work under pressure and make decisions Not the Right Fit If You are looking for an office-only role You are unwilling to operate equipment or work in the warehouse You are uncomfortable managing people Job Type: Full time Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour Experience: operations, logistics, or warehouse management: 2 years (required) Forklift: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p5m2s
