Shop Assistant - Graphics Shop (Richmond)

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Junior Vinyl Installer to join our automotive customization team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in Vinyl wrapping and vehicle graphics. The ideal candidate will assist with vinyl installation projects by removing handles, badges, mirrors before wrapping, cleaning vehicles and organizing the shop. Opportunities for On the job training for specialized techniques and hands-on skills in vehicle customization will be taught. Prior vehicle experience or mechanical knowledge is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a robust work ethic and eagerness to learn. Duties - Assist senior installers with vinyl wrapping and graphics application on vehicles - Prepare surfaces by cleaning as needed to ensure proper adhesion - Remove handles, mirros, and badges - Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency - Follow safety protocols when handling heavy materials or operating power tools Experience - Vehicle experience or background in automotive/ mechanical is advantageous but not required - Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle components is beneficial - Experience using hand tools and power tools is preferred - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as needed for materials and equipment - Prior experience with automotive graphics, wraps, or mechanic work is a plus but not mandatory - Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the automotive customization industry This position provides valuable hands-on experience in vehicle customization, offering growth opportunities within the automotive industry.
