ZE Power Engineering seeks a Junior Civil Engineer to support creative projects in the electric utility sector. This role emphasizes collaboration across design teams and project management tasks. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be integral to maintaining design conformance and assisting in various project support activities. Your responsibilities will cover preparing conceptual designs, documentation, and supporting business development endeavors. Close coordination with multidisciplinary teams will be necessary to foster project success and adherence to standards. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in preparing layouts and conceptual designs for projects • Ensure compliance with Client and Company design standards • Support technical documentation, tender documents, and project specifications • Conduct site visits to ensure project feasibility • Collaborate with team leads and other engineering disciplines Requirements: • A Degree in civil engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering • Eligibility for registration as a Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) • Civil engineering design experience, preferably in an electrical utility context • Familiarity with BC Hydro standards and design codes • Solid communication abilities and a Class 5 driver’s license Build your engineering career with ZE Power Engineering while delivering impactful solutions in the electric utility industry.
