Senior Technical Writer (Secret clearance required) - richmond, Richmond

4 months remote with high chance of extension Secret security clearance required Key Responsibilities: • Develop clear, accurate, and comprehensive technical documentation for Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A;), with a focus on Network technologies. • Create user guides, configuration manuals, and operational procedures tailored for Government of Canada IT standards. • Ensure documentation complies with client requirements, security policies, and accessibility standards. • Collaborate with network engineers, project managers, and cybersecurity teams to gather technical details and translate them into user-friendly content. • Maintain version control and manage documentation updates throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare project deliverables, including design documents, implementation guides, and compliance reports. • Support project delivery by aligning documentation with client frameworks, ITIL processes, and government procurement guidelines. Required Skills & Experience: • Solid technical writing skills with proven experience in networking, security and collaboration technologies. • In-depth knowledge of SSC ITSG.33 documentation such as CONOPS, HLD, Security control evidences • Familiarity with Government of Canada IT standards, processes, and security compliance requirements. • Experience in project documentation for large-scale IT deployments. • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and documentation management systems.
