Website: Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Coordinator to support our daily international operations. This role involves coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and communicating with global partners and customers. Industry training will be provided to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate international air import and export shipments - Communicate with overseas agents, airlines, warehouses, industry partners and customers - Prepare and review shipping documents, invoices, and related paperwork - Monitor shipment timelines and follow up to ensure on-time processing - Tender shipments at airline cargo terminals as needed - Maintain accurate records and organized documentation - Assist with customer inquiries and shipment status updates - Support day-to-day office and logistics coorindation tasks Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, customs, or transportation coordination - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced setting - Reliable, professional, and able to work indepdendently as well as part of a team Preferred Assets: - Experience with airline cargo terminal procedures - Knowledge of Canadian import/export documentation or customs-related processes - Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills Compensation & Benefits - $4,100 – $4,800 per month - Salaray review upon successful completion of probation - Annual performance and compensation reviews - Extended health and dental coverage - Vision care - Employer-paid on-site parking - Stable, full-time permanent position Work Environment - In-person position in Richmond, BC, near YVR - Public transportation accessible - Structured, deadline-driven logistics environment Why Join Us? - Established freight forwarding company operating since 1992 - Stable, long-term employment opportunity - Direct exposure to international freight operations - Opportunity to work closely with experienced logistics professionals Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $4,100.00-$4,800.00 per month Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pfmcn
