Gate Gourmet, a gategroup company, is the world’s largest independent provider of catering and provisioning services for the airline industry. We are hiring full‑time cooks for our Hot&Cold Kitchen at Vancouver International Airport (Richmond, BC). Responsibilities

Prepare all food items in a timely, proper, and efficient manner according to menu specifications, recipes, and passenger load requirements. Use raw materials efficiently to keep wastage to a minimum. Comply with company Food Safety policy and procedures, ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times.Operate modern kitchen equipment such as Rational Oven, Fryer, Steam Kettles, Char Broiler, Flat‑top Stove, and Gas range safely. Work safely and follow all customer guidelines and regulations. Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or high‑volume catering environment. Minimum 2 years of Asian/Chinese cuisine cooking experience. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive kitchen. Work an assigned schedule that may include days, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays; willing to work overtime when required.Pass a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Transport Canada Security Clearance. Excellent communication and teamwork skills within the department and with other departments. Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving product, equipment, and supplies up to 50 pounds. Basic knowledge of food safety and quality standards.Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent. Culinary degree or cooking certification preferred. Red Seal endorsement preferred but not required. Job Details

Full‑time, Permanent. Pay: $22.51 – $24.35 per hour. Work location: In‑person at Vancouver International Airport (Richmond, BC). Must obtain/maintain Transport Canada Security Clearance. Benefits
