Distribution Head for Canada, Richmond

Elevate Gopher’s presence in Canada as the Head of Distribution, focusing on building a comprehensive channel ecosystem from scratch. This role targets Chinese HNW clients and compliance with regulatory standards.

You will spearhead the establishment of Gopher's channel ecosystem in Canada, focusing on key partnerships such as IFAs and private banks. Your expertise in managing Chinese HNW client relationships in Vancouver and Toronto will be critical for driving distribution of global alternative products. Collaboration with legal teams is essential to ensure compliance with all Canadian regulations.

Key Responsibilities:• Build the complete channel ecosystem in Canada from scratch • Develop and manage Chinese HNW networks in Vancouver and Toronto • Collaborate with legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance • Enhance Gopher’s brand awareness in the financial community • Grow the local team and manage P&L responsibilities

Requirements:• Proven experience working in Canada with fluency in English and Mandarin • 12+ years of experience in wealth management and channels • Canadian financial license required (CSC, CFP, CFA, EMD) • Strong background in distributing alternative investment products • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience building from zero
