Hands-On RF Mechatronics Engineer Needed, Richmond

Become a vital part of Norsat International Inc. as a Hands-On RF Mechatronics Engineer. This position offers a focus on new RF system development and optimization in an on-site, collaborative environment.

In this role, you will support the entire product lifecycle by contributing to the design and optimization of RF circuitry, focusing on solid-state power amplifiers and block upconverters. Your strong background in electromagnetic theory will aid in resolving technical challenges while partnering closely with production teams. You’ll also be involved in preparing technical proposals and ensuring design compliance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:• Design and enhance RF power amplifiers and BUCs • Collaborate with teams to solve design-related challenges • Translate product requirements into functional prototypes • Deliver technical documentation for validation and proposals • Verify that technical solutions meet specifications

Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar • 5–8 years of experience in RF design • Strong understanding of RF components development • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting RF circuits
