Qualifications - Proven experience in construction, residential or commercial painting. - Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools. - Ability to read blueprints and schematics. - Strong attention to detail in restoration and caulking work. - Excellent time management skills. - Good communication and customer service skills. - Physically fit/ able to lift heavy loads - Working at heights Job Overview Working with the Maintenance Team in a fast-paced environment, with strong focus on Drywall repairs & Painting experience. Inspect & repair damaged walls, ceilings, and trim within Condominium units and common areas daily. Complete remediation work resulting from water leaks or high traffic areas, cut holes, patch, stud bracing, corners and compounds, smooth, sand, and then paint or stain. Experience with related processes and/or finishes an asset (plaster, stucco, popcorn ceilings, caulking, ceramic tile & grouting). We are looking for a polished individual who is well-organized and can multi-task throughout the day as demands change. In addition to Drywall & Painting expertise, you also have some Handyman knowledge of plumbing, electrical, doors & window sealing/weatherstripping. A well-rounded individual who can handle a multitude of repair jobs and execute accordingly. Responsibilities · Respond to service calls at Condominium units to inspect, assess, and repair damages resulting from water leaks or other causes · Discuss & schedule appointments with Residents, and the Building Superintendent · Maintain an inventory of supplies required while cataloguing paint colors and Unit numbers · Maintain company equipment on a regular basis (shop vacs, blower fans, filters, carts, and tools), with the ability to inspect and repair as needed · Remove old caulking, clean joints, and install new sealants as required Additional/Assets · Remove/install bathroom vanities, trim work, experience with doors & windows · Assist the maintenance team with related tasks (including but not limited to) cleaning, plumbing repairs, minor electrical, balcony work, garbage and refuse removal, recycling duties · Experience with Pools or Spa maintenance Schedule: - 8 hour day shift, Monday to Friday - Morning/Day shift Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour Perks: - Dental care - On-site parking - Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pj6k6
