Description
Overview The Quality Assurance/Control Auditor will be responsible for supporting documentation of our Continuous Quality Evaluation (CQE) program as well as performing annual quality assurance audits. Additionally, they will support all compliance activities and development of systems to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for the AMO, AO, AOC and DAO.
The ideal candidate would have a positive attitude and work well within a team, supporting all members. They would thrive in a detail‑oriented environment and be extremely organized. A strong understanding of the regulatory world in which aviation exists is required. Ability to learn and adapt quickly is a must as this position will require understanding of a vast array of company activities in order to support creation of policies and procedures and subsequently audit them.
Work Hours 40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday
Location YVR – South Terminal onsite, not remote

Responsibilities And Expectations
Performing in process quality control review of all work packages and journey logbooks, as well as auditing the maintenance tracking software to aircraft maintenance schedules/checklists.
Liaising with the training department, crew chiefs and staff to correct errors found in the reviews listed above.
Tracking and trending all errors found during the above reviews through the CQE process and preparing CQE quarterly reports. This includes presenting the potential areas for improvement and recommending actions to be taken.li>
Assisting with developing any procedures or training material to address the CQE recommendations.
Preparing Quality Review Board (QRB) Agendas and Minutes, and documentation of action items.
Following-up with members of the QRB to ensure action item completion.
Preparing Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and updating follow-up activities as required.
Performing annual auditing of all Company Certificates.
Assisting with the creation of and revisions to all Company Manuals, Procedures, Forms, Training Modules and Technical Information Bulletins
Other activities as directed by the PRM or the Engineering & Quality Manager.
Qualifications/Assets
Required - Knowledge of TCCA regulations, standards, and guidance material
Required - AME M1 or S License
Required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Required - Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment independently
Required - Keen attention to detail and organization
Preferred - Previous Audit and/or CAP Training
Preferred - Very strong MS Office skills
