General Labourer (Atholville)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across our project sites, supporting the efficient operation of our operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in construction, maintenance, or general labor work while contributing to important projects. Responsibilities - Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment - Perform general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a secure work environment - Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials - Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision - Help with site preparation, including digging, lifting, and moving materials - Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and team safety - Support logistical tasks such as organizing supplies and maintaining inventory Qualifications - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods - Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality - Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately - Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is advantageous but not mandatory - Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks on-site - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team - Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
