Job Title: Server (Waitstaff) Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and efficient Server to join our team. The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities: - Greet guests warmly and present menus - Take accurate food and beverage orders - Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items - Deliver food and drinks promptly and correctly - Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns - Process payments and handle cash/card transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining areas - Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service - Follow all food safety and hygiene standards Qualifications: - Previous serving or customer service experience preferred - Robust communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for handling payments - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Smart Serve (or relevant certification) may be required Skills & Attributes: - Friendly and professional demeanor - Strong multitasking abilities - Attention to detail - Team player with a positive attitude - Ability to stay calm under pressure Working Conditions: - Standing and walking for extended periods - Carrying trays and lifting moderate weights - Fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal, Casual Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okrh6
