BBA Mechanical Engineering Technician, Rouyn-Noranda

As part of the mechanical engineering team at BBA, you will create 3D designs and 2D detailed drawings for various projects based around Rouyn‑Noranda or Val‑d’Or. This role also demands your expertise in point cloud technology and coordination with other engineering disciplines. Short trips may occur as part of supporting offices in Eastern Canada.

Key Responsibilities:• Execute precise 3D designs of mechanical layouts • Deliver 2D drawings with comprehensive detailing • Collaborate on field site surveys for accuracy • Ensure quality in all design deliverables • Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and collaboration

Requirements:• College diploma in engineering technology or industrial drafting • Proficiency in English and French for client communications • Valid driver’s license • Previous mechanical technician experience preferred • Knowledge of the mining sector is advantageous
