With branches across Western Canada and a vast network of business brands, we are uniquely positioned to bring value to our partners at every turn. **Position Title:** Warehouse Supervisor **Location:** Saanichton, BC, V8M 1Z7 **Starting Minimum:** $25/hour **Job Type:** Full Time Permanent **Key Responsibilities:** - Warehouse Operation - Organize daily workload and assign tasks to employees. - Oversee loading, receiving, and picking; ensure SOPs are followed - Ensure CFIA and HACCP policies are followed. - Liaise with Warehouse Manager to ensure proper flow of information between shifts. - Monitor safety in the warehouse and alert staff if procedures are not followed. - Troubleshoot any warehouse equipment issues. - Complete all required logs and reports. - Follow sanitation programs in all areas of the warehouse. - Supervision of Staff - Provide training for new employees. - Mentor and coach all employees on afternoon shift. - Maintain a positive environment that enhances the employees’ work experience. - Investigate, record and follow up on all employee discipline problems consistent with company policy and standard practices. - Keep employees informed of any changes to company policies, practices and procedures. - Additional duties as assigned. **Qualifications and Skills:** - Must have minimum of 3 years warehousing experience - Must have minimum of 1 year supervisory/ leadership experience - Excellent time management, decision making and problem-solving skills. - Forklift certification would be considered an asset. - Commitment to safety standards and practices. - Willingness to work in a cold environment. - Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively. - Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
