**Warehouse Associate** **Location:** North Saanich, BC **Job Overview** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily inventory and material operations within a growing manufacturing environment. This role is essential in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting production needs, and ensuring the timely movement of materials. This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse responsibilities, delivery runs, and inventory control, with opportunities to learn new skills, including operating specialized equipment such as a bandsaw. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform daily inventory tasks including cycle counting and material relocation + Complete delivery runs to support manufacturing operations + Accurately update inventory data within WMS/ERP systems + Follow established procedures for inventory control, compliance, and traceability + Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies that may impact production or customer orders + Learn to safely operate a bandsaw to cut and measure materials + Support general warehouse operations including picking, packing, and order preparation + Manage shipping and receiving, including loading/unloading and verifying materials + Use RF scanners to track inventory movements and transactions + Distribute materials within the warehouse and to production areas + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace + Collaborate cross-functionally to coordinate inventory and warehouse activities + Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities for process improvement **Qualifications and Skills** + Minimum 1 year of warehouse or inventory control experience + Experience with WMS or ERP systems and data entry + Experience in shipping and receiving + Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel + Experience using RF scanners and warehouse systems + High attention to detail and accuracy + Strong communication and teamwork skills + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting around 30 lbs + Experience with cycle counting, order picking, and material handling + Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in aviation or aerospace environments + Familiarity with kitting or small parts handling + Knowledge of international shipping documentation + Forklift experience (sit-down) or willingness to be trained + Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-building operation **Why Join Us** + Opportunity to work with a rapidly growing manufacturing organization + Strong potential for career advancement and skill development + Cross-training opportunities in inventory systems and equipment operation + Team-oriented culture that values initiative, reliability, and collaboration **Benefits** + 5% RRSP matching + Extended health and dental coverage + Prescription benefits + Long-term career stability **Work Workplace and Schedule** This is an onsite position located in North Saanich, BC, requiring active movement throughout a warehouse and manufacturing setting. **Shift Options** + Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM + Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM + Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM Overtime may be required after 40 hours per week. Each shift includes two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch. The work environment combines warehouse and production operations, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and consistent processes.
