Lumberyard Customer Support Associate, Saanich

Deliver outstanding customer service as a Lumberyard Customer Support Associate, supporting daily operations by assisting customers and managing product logistics. This hands-on role involves loading, unloading, and maintaining the yard's organization.

As a part-time associate, you will be responsible for providing friendly assistance to contractors and ensuring products are properly handled and invoiced. Your ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and your commitment to safety will play a key role in the yard's efficiency and appearance. Strong communication skills and product knowledge are essential to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist in locating lumber and supplies for customers • Safely operate forklifts and saws after training • Verify invoicing accuracy for outgoing inventory • Keep the yard clean and well-organized • Assist with unloading trucks and managing product flow

Requirements:• High school graduation or equivalent • Strong knowledge of building materials • Capability to lift and pack drywall • Experience in retail or construction is a plus • Excellent communication and organizational skills
