Family Physician (Sidney)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality patient care and promoting overall wellness. The Family Physician will play a vital role in managing acute and chronic conditions, performing preventive care, and supporting patients through various stages of their healthcare journey. Responsibilities - Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication administration and follow-up care. - Manage acute care cases, providing immediate treatment for urgent health issues. - Perform pediatric and adult patient care, addressing a wide range of health concerns. - Document patient encounters accurately using electronic medical records systems. - Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication use. - Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Requirements - Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure as a Family Physician. - Proven experience in hospital settings or outpatient clinics preferred. - Experience with electronic health records systems is highly desirable. - Skilled in managing acute care cases, pain management, and pediatrics. - Excellent patient care skills with compassionate communication abilities. - Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic healthcare services.
