Maintenance Technician, Central Saanich

Provide landscaping support and light maintenance duties at Oceanside RV Resort. The position requires a full‑time commitment of 40 hours per week with weekend availability and dependable, hard‑working individuals who will receive on‑the‑job training. Responsibilities

Maintain landscaping and overall appearance of the property. Provide general grounds maintenance: weeding gravel sites, maintaining gardens, controlling garbage and recycling, clearing roads and walkways, lawn cutting, and grass edging. Assist the maintenance lead with repair and maintenance of community buildings, equipment, and resort facilities.Communicate ongoing with Resort Manager and Maintenance Lead. Operate within Occupational Health&Safety legislation and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized work area and monitor for safety concerns. Prioritize the guest experience through excellent customer service by responding quickly and efficiently to guest issues. Perform janitorial duties for facilities, covering as required for the maintenance lead and cleaner.Carry out additional duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience. Clean Driver’s Abstract and clean background/criminal check. Experience in landscaping or prior maintenance work is an asset. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions. Physical capability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to work at heights.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Compensation and Benefits
