Ralik, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, has a job open in Blainville, QC. The Van Driver is responsible fordelivering product to our customers in a safe and professional manner, on time and accurately. Responsibilities: Driving company owned and licensed vehicles within Blainville and surrounding areas.Loading and unloading stock in a secure manner for safe, damage-free transportation. Verifying all orders at time of delivery and delivering orders to meet customer specifications. Ensuring equipment and truck are in good working condition through adherence to deliverymaintenance procedures. Familiarity with the completion of delivery registers and paperwork to ensure stock is accounted for.Qualifications: Bilingual (English&French). Employee needs to be able to communicate with the head office, outsidevendors, and suppliers etc. Holder of active Class 5 license, with a minimum of two years of truck drivingexperience is required. Current TDG/WHMIS knowledge would be considered an asset. Ability to use power loading equipment.Tailgate experience would be considered an asset. Familiar with ISO Policies and Procedures would be considered an asset. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. Strong attention to detail. Dependable and reliable. Good decision making skills and ability to work independently.High school graduate and/or related experience. Working/Other Conditions: Working on-site in a dry climate-controlled warehouse and vehicle environment. Required to wear personal protective equipment– company supplied. Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse and vehicle environment.Ability to operate Stand-up Material Handling Equipment as required. Repetitive physical activities including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing and pulling weights up to 23 kg (50lbs) for the duration of the shift. As an essential services provider you must be comfortable driving in all weather and road conditions.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible regarding work hours.
