Genetics is looking for a dynamic individual eager to thrive in a stimulating environment to join our team as a Mechanical Design Technician.
Qualifications
Holds a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent;
Has 5 to 9 years of design experience in the mechanical field;
Knowledge of SolidWorks/Revit software (an asset);
Fluent in spoken and written French (fluency in English is an asset for collaborating with clients outside Quebec);
Demonstrates strong adaptability;
Demonstrates positive leadership, autonomy, and strong teamwork skills; and above all shares our values of competence, autonomy, respect, and quality of life.
Responsibilities
Receive, identify, and analyze client needs;
Read, interpret, analyze, and understand the technical clauses of plans and specifications;
Participate in designing various deliverables (technical concepts, plans, parts lists, datasheets, calculations, manuals, etc.) in accordance with client specifications and standards;
Participate in the selection of equipment involved in the designs;
Provide technical expertise during equipment manufacturing;
Provide technical support and/or participate in equipment commissioning.
