Description
About the Role You're Considering The Interior Integrator is responsible for the end‑to‑end integration of aircraft interior designs programs. This role ensures that interior concepts, detailed designs, and subsequent changes are technically sound, compliant with requirements, and effectively coordinated across internal and external stakeholders. The integrator acts as the focal point between engineering, program management, suppliers, and certification authorities, driving design maturity and managing changes through the change management system.
Key Responsibilities Design Review&Integration
Review and assess aircraft interior designs and concepts (cabins, monuments, seats, linings, galleys, lavatories, etc.) for technical feasibility, integration, and compliance with standards.
Ensure interior designs are compatible with aircraft structure, systems, safety, and certification requirements.
Identify design gaps, risks, and integration issues early and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
Stakeholder Interface
Act as the primary interface between engineering, program teams, suppliers, and external partners.
Coordinate inputs and alignments across multiple disciplines (structure, systems, safety, certification, manufacturing, and customer teams).
Support communication with authorities and internal approval bodies as required.
Change Management (PCR / RFC)
Prepare, submit, and manage PCRs (Problem/Process Change Requests) and RFCs (Requests for Change) through the change management system.
Drive change impact assessments, including technical, schedule, cost, and certification impacts.
Coordinate approvals, track progress, and ensure timely closure of change requests.
Program Coordination
Support program milestones by ensuring timely design maturity and integration status.
Participate in design reviews, integration reviews, and configuration control meetings.
Maintain alignment with program planning, deliverables, and aircraft configuration baselines.
Documentation&Compliance
Ensure technical documentation is complete, consistent, and compliant with Airbus processes and procedures.
Support certification, qualification, and conformity activities related to interiors.
Maintain traceability of decisions, changes, and approvals.
What you Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience in aircraft interiors integration, systems integration, or aerospace engineering.
Familiarity with Airbus aircraft programs and engineering processes is strongly preferred.
Proven experience managing design changes and configuration control in a regulated aerospace environment.
Experience with change and configuration management tools and processes (PCR, RFC, CM systems).
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to analyze complex design topics and drive cross‑functional resolutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑driven mindset.
