Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing gear and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components for landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state‑of‑the‑art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.
You will manufacture landing gear components using high‑tech equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and multi‑axis CNC machining centers.
Responsibilities
Verify, prepare, and perform the assembly of the part.
Carry out machining operations according to the machining range.
Solve technical problems or provide solutions to method technicians and CNC programmers as needed.
Inspect the part to ensure compliance with specifications and take necessary measures if abnormal situations are detected.
Organise your work and prioritise tasks based on instructions received regarding parts to be processed first.
Consult technical documents on the computer such as work drawings, operation sheets, procedures, and complete, if necessary, the appropriate quality assurance documentation.
Ensure that tools, jigs and equipment are in good condition.
Inform technicians of the conditions of operations (tools, assembly, documentation, CNC programmes, data) and make suggestions for improvement.
Assist technicians with improvement projects and development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of operations and achieving team objectives in terms of safety, quality, costs, and on‑time deliveries.

ASP in machining on CNC machine tools is an asset.
Minimum of one year of experience on CNC machine tools.

Benefits and Working Conditions Evening shift from Monday to Thursday from 2:20 PM to 12:20 AM. Note: Depending on the collective agreement rules, the position may change shifts (evening, night, or weekend).
The salary for this position starts between $30.13 and $43.60 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications. With internal training and your progress in acquiring job‑related skills, the hourly wage will increase up to a maximum of $47.32.
$1.30 HR bonus.
