Overview This position is an interview role designed to assist management in overseeing daily sort, delivery and pickup activities, as well as remote domicile location and feeder operations where applicable. The incumbent leads the assigned sector, ensures best practices and effective operations, and serves as a mentor and role model for hourly employees, demonstrating strong communication, conflict resolution and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
Lead the assigned sector to ensure efficient and high‑quality sort, delivery and pickup operations.
Oversee remote domicile location and feeder operations as required.
Model best practices and mentor hourly employees.
Demonstrate effective communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Minimum 2 years of current courier experience.
Technical Skills
Valid driver’s licence with a good driving record.
Completion of all basic and recurrency training, including DG specialist certification.
Maintenance of accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration.
Current knowledge of BP and defensive driver/process updates.
Understanding of FedEx products, service features, and general operations.
Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
Knowledge of Federal Express operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.
Interpersonal Skills
Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization and organizational abilities.
Team player.
Hours&Schedule
Tuesday to Friday: 10:00 AM– 7:00 PM.
Saturday: 7:00 AM– 4:00 PM.
