Responsibilities
Steer the transversal activities pertaining to the Chief Engineering responsibilities: Systems Engineering deployment, Technical maturity Gates, Risks&Opportunities management at aircraft level, deployment of Validation&Verification (V&V) management, etc.
Lead the Portfolio Enable the Future&Sustainable Aircraft, supporting the achievement of the A220 development roadmap, managing budget and priorities in alignment with the A220 product evolution ambitions and AOP assumptions, and supporting the achievement of the A220 Sustainability roadmap.
Represent the A220 Chief Engineering in BDPR (Airbus X-Programmes) milestones and act as the Systems Engineering technical leader for New Developments, ensuring the deployment of robust Requirements Management processes and V&V culture in Airbus Canada.
Manage Chief Engineering business operations: AOP cycle, resource planning, finance reviews, performance reviews (Flight Deck), Risks&Opportunities, etc.
Coordinate Chief Engineer owned governances such as Design Progress Meetings (DPM), 1-Program Review Meetings (1-PRM), Overall Aircraft Design operational meetings (OAD Ops), and represent the organization in Product Change boards (LB, CCB).
Represent the A220 Program for Data Analytics studies in the interface with the Zero-AOG team.
Qualifications
University degree in Engineering.
More than 12 years of experience in product development and project management.
Strong organizational, influence and presentation skills.
Capability to drive activities in complex environments and across multidisciplinary teams.
Understanding of business concepts including product value and cost control.
Bilingual professional with advanced negotiation skills in English and native-level fluency in French.
