Safran Landing Systems is a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant specializes in manufacturing major components for Airbus A320, A330, A350 and Boeing 787 models, equipping state‑of‑the‑art machining, polishing, and special processes such as heat treatment, shot peening and surface treatments.
Mission Your mission will be to manage the physical flows of components and raw materials from receipt to shipping of finished products, supporting the reliability and safety of the inventory throughout the process.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
Lead logistics
Ensure coordination and information exchange between internal and external stakeholders.
Propose flexibility actions to absorb occasional overloads and smooth the workload.
Propose and implement the necessary means and tools for smooth operations.
Monitor daily operations (costs, quality, deadlines, HSE) and handle transport and customs follow‑up.
Ensure stock organization in accordance with storage rules and 5S principles.
Act as the GDA (Document Management and Archiving) correspondent for the receiving‑shipping department.
Verify that system inventories match physical reality.
Manage the aeronautical parts warehouse.
Maintain the sustainability of the Business Continuity Plan.
Provide operational support
Perform daily tasks related to the launch of manufacturing orders.
Perform daily tasks related to subcontracting management.
Manage daily internal and external tasks related to matrix coupon handling and report discrepancies.
Conduct inventories according to rules and ensure system data consistency.
Ensure transport on sale
Handle local and international shipping tasks daily.
Process transport invoices, report and address discrepancies.
Analyze monthly budget variances according to the ORM schedule.
Handle non‑conformities and disputes related to logistics
Control billing of services and dispute follow‑up.
Report customer priority conflicts and communicate priorities.
Resolve transport disputes and manage incidents.
Lead QRQC / RPO initiatives.
Requirements
DEC in production management, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
3 to 5 years of experience in continuous improvement.
Knowledge and understanding of MRP2 principles.
APICS basics of supply chain management (asset).
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French to interact with Safran sites and partners.
