Overview

Role summary: As the lead within AIRBUS Atlantic Canada for the Programme Management Office, your mission is to support the VSM Programme managers as a co-pilot in securing our objectives: from developing the 5-year roadmap with the management team, to translating it into clear objectives, structuring projects large and small (such as developments), establishing control measures (Key Performance Indicators) and steering routines, implementing processes, tools, methods and routines, and ensuring teams are properly trained and adhere to processes. Your expertise and leadership, together with appropriate methods and tools, will enable you and your teams to structure, drive performance and ensure successful project execution, and to lead or co-lead key structural projects to meet programme challenges.Key responsibilities

Provide the VSM leader with the means to detect potential performance issues in meeting objectives, enabling short-loop reactions and continuous improvement by implementing performance reviews, effective governance, KPIs&feedback loops (Plan Do Check Act), and clear, impactful dashboards (Exec Summary, KPI, progress of VSM actions) up to executive committee level. Identify and drive, with the management team, structural initiatives that simplify and optimize governance and collaborate with cross-site, cross-function stakeholders both inside and outside Airbus Atlantic.Support and co-pilot VSM key projects (Ramp-up project, development projects, strategic project portfolio), providing solutions for complex problem resolution. Manage risks and opportunities, and prepare and support key steering reviews of the scope in coordination with the managers and the various VSM pillars (Obeya reviews, programme Comex reviews).Manage, in collaboration with Airbus Canada and local project managers, capitalizable projects (specific CAPEX J&T) and the operational costs related to this activity (OPEX). Ensure proper deployment of the project management framework within the scope (e.g. Start Kit, LBIP/LPDP, EVM, R&Opps, lessons learned, planning tools, etc.), including processes and tools, process adherence, skills and competence management, and training. Act as the contracting authority for project services and coordinate and develop internal PPM resources that make up the site project support team. Candidate profile

You have at least 5 years of experience in programme and project management with ideally a certified training in project and portfolio management, and a solid understanding of programme and industrial issues. You are autonomous, known for your leadership, proactivity and anticipation skills. You have strong analytical and synthesis skills. You adapt and use multiple communication styles, you negotiate and influence using reasoned advocacy.You can manage stakeholders and collaborate within a multifunctional team. You have successfully managed a project or portfolio from initiation to completion (PM certification is a plus). You enjoy human contact, hold strong values of teamwork, respect, collaboration and transparency. You are motivated to make an impact and to have your work matter.This role requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity as the foundation for the company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
