Mechanical Design Engineer (Saint-Jérôme)

Tasks Design and model equipment and tooling in 3D for manufacturing. Produce all required technical drawings for the workshop. Develop welded assemblies and formed components (bending, rolling). Work closely with the production team to ensure feasibility and efficiency of concepts. Participate in testing, adjustments, and improvements throughout each project. Coordinate certain aspects related to purchasing, subcontracting, and project progress tracking. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes. Perform any other related tasks. Job requirements University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant design experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in 3D design software, particularly Solid Works and CATIA. Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and workshop realities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities. Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (mandatory).
